By car: Follow signs from the city center to Holmenkollen. 15 minutes drive. Large parking facilities available.

Maritime history. The Norwegian coast, its traditions and heritage. In the main building you can see full-size original interiors from vessels past and present, together with a vast collection of models of ships from the Vikings, the age of sail, supertankers, cruise liners and oil rigs of today. Outside you can see the Gjøa polar ship that Roald Amundsen used when he was the first to complete the Northwest Passage. Widescreen panorama movies featuring the coast of Norway and the port of Oslo. Libraby. Museum shop. Restaurant. Attractive rooms available for conferences and social events.

The Norwegian Telecom Museum Oslo Museum North The Norwegian Telecom Museum Located in the same building as the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology at Kjelsås. The exhibition is a journey from ancient Greece until today. At the museum you can try many of the different methods of telecommunication that have been used and are still being used in the past. You can signal your name using the telegraph, or you can pretend to be a switchboard operator from 1925. Or you can surf the Internet or make a call on our picture phone.
